Trends in music seem to repeat every 2 decades- so were currently in the midsts of an 80s revival -a good thing?

Nostalgia can cloud once clear memories, making the decade which at the time wasnt so pleasant seem much better than what it was. Acts from the 80s are beginning to reform and release new albums, proving they can show the youngsters how its done.

The thrash metal scene, which was prevalent during the 80s and peaked with the 1986 releases of Metallica’s ‘Master of puppets’ and Slayer’s ‘Reign in blood’ albums (let the flaming begin) has had a revival, with newer bands such as Municipal Waste and Evile flying the flag for thrash metal.
